This was one of those strange weeks. Per my estimates I should have only lost 1.4 pounds, but I ended up losing twice that. I am in no way complaining but I am a little disappointed still. My Saturday and Sunday weights were 2 and 1 pound lighter than my actual weigh in. This is why my Monday weight is my official weight because otherwise I would really be obsessive over the little changes like that. There is no way that I should be angry about a 2.8 pound loss in a 5 day week.
Exercise wise, this week went great for the 5 days. I ran on Thursday and played hockey Friday, Saturday and Sunday. Eating wise I did not do as well. I was able to avoid ordering takeout on Saturday but I ended up getting chocolate covered almonds, a decent trade off I guess. I have been allowing myself too many deserts recently. Sure, I am still staying within the calorie range that I deem fit, but I could be coming in lower if I would just eliminate these deserts. If I want to reach my new short term goal I am going to need to do this.
This beings me to my new short term goal. I would like to weight 215 pounds by my 1 year anniversary of starting my weight loss. This means I have just over 14 pounds to lose in just under 2 months, March 8th. There are three reasons that I think this is a great goal. First, it is reasonable. Second, it would allow me to update these pictures on my one year anniversary. Finally it would put me at 101 pounds lost for my 1 year anniversary. This is not going to be easy, but if you ignore my Christmas gain, since Thanksgiving I would have been on pace to meet this. I hope I can accomplish this goal.
