Another Great Weigh-in!

Last Monday’s Weight: 236.2

Today’s Weight: 231.4

Pounds Lost This Week: 4.8 pounds

Estimated Weight loss per myfooddiary.com: 1.9 pounds

Total weight loss: 84.6 pounds

Weight wise you cannot ask for any more than this.  4.8 pounds is an amazing week.  Oddly this morning’s weight actually was within the range I saw on the scale this week.  My weight went all the way down to 230 at one point.

Eating wise, this week did not go as well as last week but it was still pretty positive.  Monday through Thursday was great, with me logging significant deficits each day.  The rest of the week did not go so well.  Friday I was unable to work out due to my bike accident on Thursday night, ditto with Saturday.  When I do not workout it is hard for me to stay within my net calorie goals.  Sunday was a social day, I was supposed to meet up with some random people to go ice skating, but due to weather we ended up just going to a bar to watch the Bears game.  Needless to say this led to drinking, but I made sure not to eat the bar food.  I planned my day around this so the calories didn’t kill me but they are still empty calories.

Exercise wise this week was not great.  I bike to work 4 times and played hockey twice.  I need to start making running a more common occurrence in my weeks, and I hope to start with this week.  I am mostly healed from my injuries this week and should be able to run and lift this week.

I am happy about this week in general and I am looking to build upon it in the coming weeks.  This coming week is going to have one major hurdle being Friday.  I am going to the Wings-Hawks game and plan on drinking heavily before I go.  I need to make sure to work out that morning and try to limit my calories during the day.  I also may end up going out to dinner afterwards or for more drinks since my dad is in town but nothing is for sure yet.  My goal for the week is to book a loss, any loss.  After a huge week like this it is sometimes hard to keep the momentum going.

Awesome week John, hope you have more willpower than I do when drinking. I agree any loss this week would be great keeping the momentum going. Good luck!

It depends what you mean by willpower, or more so, towards what. I am able to avoid the horrible bar food, but what I am not able to avoid is more drinking. Since I started losing weight I have cut my food calories on the days that I know I am drinking which leads to two things. One, my calories are super horrible for the day. Two, I get drunk much quicker! :)
