There are benefits to being in great shape (as opposed to being "not fat") other than looking good. Lean muscle burns more calories, so getting into even better shape will help you in keeping the weight off. You might also find that getting into great shape leads to physical activities that you enjoy, which will encourage you to lead a healthy, active lifestyle instead of the one that got you fat. Almost any fun physical activity-sports like softball, volleyball, even golf, skiing, etc. will benefit from you getting more physically fit and stronger. The better you get at those things, the more you'll want to do them.

Thanks, Ralph. I'm not sure what I want, I guess, but it's now on my mind. I still can't picture myself "in shape", but maybe when I'm at my goal weight I'll see some skinny arms and go for the trainer, or start weight routines? It's just so foreign to me.

Its the logical next step. I think what you're going through is what everyone experiences when they make progress. I think its good that you're wanting more from yourself because that means that your personal development progress is headed in the right direction. Keep it up!
