Sleepless Setback

I really wanted to go to the gym this morning. I had my alarm set for 8.30am so I could fit in a great workout before continuing on with my day and getting other things done.

However, I’m thinking a Red Bull in the afternoon/evening may have caused some kind of caffeine overload in my system. Rather than crashing and giving me the push I needed to get to sleep, I tossed and turned until I developed a massive headache. It was ridiculous. I went to bed rather late as it was trying to figure out a compatible song manager for my ipod as an alternative to iTunes so I could put on some fresh music for the gym. (I settled on Songbird, for the record.)

I didn’t really get to sleep until after 7am this morning. I feel groggy and exhausted and find that I’m only getting twenty to thirty minute bursts of sleep. I know I’ve got a lot of things on my mind as of late but goddamn. That’s a bit ridiculous, don’t you think?

So let me guess… you think I could still fit in a gym session tonight, right? Well you’re wrong! I’ve made commitments to be elsewhere and those need to take precedent. I do have plans to go tomorrow, however. This I’m excited about. I was thinking of going before my interview tomorrow. Hrm. I DO need to do more cardio… what if I just did that? That can’t be that bad of an idea, could it?

Things to think about, I guess!

In the coming days I will write a post regarding my eating habits and why I think I eat the way that I do. Stay tuned for that!
