Well, the last two weeks I haven’t done very well at all. I gained a couple of pounds each week but I am hoping my next weigh-in in the next day or 2 will be good news. I have been out of town and got sick which are two things that often trigger weight gain for me. I haven’t been running and hope I can continue back on week 3 of the “Couch to 5K” plan, which is where I left off. I worked out a couple of days ago and it went well with good weight lifting and 15 minutes on the elliptical machine, which means I will hopefully not miss a beat this week. I am still getting over the flu, but I hope I will be better in a couple of days.

Take care of yourself – even though you want to stay on track, you don’t want to do it at the expense of extending an illness. I hope you get to feeling better today.
I love the couch to 5k program! However, I only seem to make it to week 5 before something happens, either I get sick or I get hurt and it all comes crumbling down. I wish you much success! Good Luck!
Thanks Steve, I am feeling better and better each day now. Should be back to normal soon…
Nick, I have had the same thing happen. I have gotten to week 4 once before. The problem is that the running starts ramping up a lot in weeks 4 and 5 and it gets way harder. I ran week 3 2 out of the 3 days a couple of weeks ago, so I feel like I can beat that one, but week 4 looks tough. I’ll just try and try till I can do it 3 times in a week.
