Well, 2 pounds down this first week! I have been going to the gym every other day and doing more cardio and weight lifting each day. I feel so much better and I haven’t gotten sick or anything like I sometimes do when i start working out. I went to the gym at lunch time today and am going running again tonight, and I ate a pretty healthy lunch! It’s easy to be motivated at first, I think I need to identify when I start making bad choices.

Do you ever get in the mindset where self-control feels good? Like, feeling good about walking past the donuts? I find that I hate to spoil a good record of self-control.. especially when cheating just makes it easier to cheat the next time! Don’t lose motivation: you deserve to meet your goal as quickly as possible!
I’m feeling a bout of laziness coming on, btw.. I am planning to exercise tonight, so I’m going to write down 30 times “I will exercise tonight”. Affirmations really bring focus too, and you can do them in advance.
