I began a new lifting program on Tuesday. I spent the day yesterday pleasantly stiff.
As I wrote in that post, I am following the routine from BodyBuilding.com ‘as directed’, or at least I am trying. The gym was great tonight; not too many people. There were a couple guys there that have been consistent cheerleaders in my body transformation efforts. I get an amazing feeling when a guy who has worked hard on his physique tells me that I’m looking good.

I wasn’t really focused tonight; I was talking with the other guys, we watched parts of the McCain speech (meh!) and wasn’t listening to my iPod, so I only completed 5/8 of the exercises in today’s routine.
Gym Log: Sept. 4
Cardio: 15 minutes
Bench Press (free weights): 10×85 lbs, 8×95 lbs, 6x 115lbs
Incline Bench Press (machine): 10×125 lbs, 8×140 lbs, 6×145 lbs.
Cable Crossovers:10×50 lbs, 8×65 lbs.
Incline DB Flyes: *Did not complete
Shoulder Press: 10×90 lbs, 8×100 lbs, 6×115 lbs
Side Laterals: *Did not complete
Bent over Raise: *Did not complete
DB Shrugs: 12×30 lbs, 10×40 lbs, 8×45 lbs.
Pain is weakness leaving the body!

That’s awsome!!! I am starting to do the darn thing John … since we work together i hope to learn a lot from you . I HATE dieting and have NEVER been successful at it . I have commented on a few of your buddies blogs … after reading some of them , I have to admit, I am inspired this may be a new beginning for me. I don’t think I can get any bigger and still motate… I am pushing maximum density here and IT MUST STOP!!!! I am not a fan of the womens fatblogging sites.. cause its all about .”whaaaaaaaaaa !! I’m fat.” you men just do it and get it done with minimal whinning. I apppriceate that. I have always communicated better with men. I have 6 brothers and 3 sons, so …hopefully this will help where nothing else has…. so thanks for inviting me to participate. … angie
