Week 1 of the War on Sugar
I spent this week fighting a War on Sugar and I won. The results below speak for themselves. I lost 3.4 pounds merely cutting out added sugars.
So I sit here enjoying my treat for myself and look forward to week two of the “war”. Why do I feel it necessary to do that? That should be obvious, it gets results. I plan on allowing for up to two sweet treats a week. Otherwise, no sugar. Just the battles I face at work are enough to make me want to stick to this and with the holidays fast approaching, it is better that I continue the fight.
Also, I want to lose more weight just for the program that Weight-Watchers started this week called “Lose For Good“. Basically, for every pound lost at a meeting, Weight-Watchers will donate one pound of food to a few good causes. I want to contribute in the best way I know how… and the only way that benefits myself and someone else.

I didn’t realize how sick some of the junk food I ate made me feel until I started eating healthy. But it’s true. I love the way I feel after a good work out. It’s empowering.
Congratulations Charles, you are doing an amazing job, keep the good work and stay focus on that battle against sugar.
Take care.
I had a brownie today… and afterwards, I really didn’t feel that great. It tasted wonderful, but the after-effects were not worth it. A friend of mine try to stop me, but I insisted. I pretty much have to teach myself my own lessons the hard way. So no more sugar until weigh-in.
