It's not an easy thing... I've lost weight and regained several times myself. The battle never ends. You've got to keep trying though or things will get worse!

Work on forming better food habits for the long haul and definitely keep good exercise habits going! Barry is right... the food is a major portion of the battle! And if you have been sticking to your food plan and things aren't going the right direction, time to re-assess.

It might be a good idea to see a counselor! But weight loss... and weight MAINTENANCE have not been easy for MOST PEOPLE! So you aren't alone in this! If it were easy, there wouldn't be such an obesity problem. Anyway, staying accountable is helpful I think. I might want to just give up at times, but knowing that I've started this and want to finish the journey and have to post each week on my blog helps get me back on track each time I stray.

Keep up the good fight!

I was reading the posts when I came upon yours. For a minute I thought someone had posted my blog post on here until I read further. :) You are exactly the same place that I was about 3 weeks ago. I reached 278.8 which is the most I have ever weighed. Are you keeping a food diary? It's nice to be able to go back and see why you are gaining if you are faithful to your diet.

Over 80% of weight loss comes from diet. Exercise will get you fit and turn flab to muscle but what you eat will be more important that how much you lift. That's my opinion. Good luck to both of us!

You're doing one good thing... you're still trying and still willing to admit you can do better. And more importantly, we know you can do it.
