The Weigh-In Week 48
216.8! That’s what it said on the scale this morning. A loss of 3 pounds.

As you can imagine I am much less mad this week. In fact I am extremely happy… but this is not the be all end all of all this calorie counting. I know the real proof will come in 3 weeks. If I am still counting calories and still losing weight in 3 weeks, then I can call this return to basics a success. For now lets just call this a good start…a really good start.

P.S. Did you notice I am wearing shorts. There is a chance that summer may finally be arriving. Hurray!
It should be a nice weekend here in the Northland. Get out and enjoy it.

we busted out the shorts here too. Summer has hit with an exclamation point! 90 today and tomorrow.

Tony, I clicked on the page - About Us. Have you read that lately? Here is your comment “My current goal is to get down to 220 by my 34th birthday in May of next year.” Looks like you’ve made your goal and then some. If I missed your birthday - Happy Birthday.

Thanks Barry. My birthday is May 29th. So I re-read your happy birthday then.
I have actually made two goals already.
1. Get to 220
2. Get my BMI under 30 (214 lbs)
3. My current goal is to reach 208.
I was hoping to do it by my birthday but my recent stumbles kind of got in the way. I would like to be at a new low by my birthday. Which would mean being under 213 by next Thursday. It’s doable but I won’t be crushed if I don’t make it.
