239.8! That’s what it said on the scale this morning. A loss of 2.6 lbs.
And the streak continues!
That makes 11 straight weeks of loss. Over the past 2 months my average weekly loss has been 3.24 lb.
Turns out my big bump in the road was just a little pot hole. I think the fear of a gain caused me to kick into overdrive for the second half of this week. That’s the only way I can explain going from gaining 3lbs. last weekend to losing 2 this week.
Here’s the really exciting news for me. Last January I was 288lbs. Today I am just 1.8 lbs. away from having lost 50lbs. It’s a goal that was not even conceivable to me when I started this journey.

Awesome job, btw. Lose two or three pounds a week, and pretty soon you’ve got 50 pounds gone.
I am so glad!! You have really hit it. I got to a point where I found what worked for me and by just staying with that I could just keep losing except for some little hormonal bumps. just keep it steady. I nearly lost it today when I took a long drive with the kids and missed lunch. When I got home I wanted to eat EVERYTHING, but I settled down and had a decent lunch. I wanted to eat a protein bar on top of it, got it out and took one bite and realized what I was doing. I actually spit it out. I feel good about putting the breaks on what could have turned into a binge.
