Week 25 Weigh-In
After achieving my 10% goal last week and the accompanying hoop-la, I got a bit neurotic about whether I would be able to have a ‘loss’ this week. Making that number last week was my all-consuming focus for the last month and to not have it there, well, I felt that I had lost focus. I spoke with the leader of my group this morning and she encouraged me to set a new goal (I have) and let this be my ‘off week’ before setting my eyes on the next prize.
Well, enough of that, let’s get on with it… Anton, a drum roll if you please…

My weekly losses have been all over the map. Four pounds one week, less than one the next. I can’t figure it. It’s probably not a bad idea to just have a “maintenance” week once in a while. It can actually be better for you in the long range.
You’re doing awesome! The numbers on the scale are just guide though — dont’ worry about every single week having a loss, it’s the big picture. After over a year of dieting I’ve had good weeks and bad – I’m learning to let the bad ones slide, enjoy the ones, and celebrate the long term goals.
