Poll #5: What’s your biggest meal of the day?
If you’re on a weight loss plan with a set amount of calories or points each day, you might plan out your eating each day, putting the majority of those calories of points into one meal. It’s interesting to hear the rationale for these decisions.
I used to be a no-breakfast guy, then I’d load up on fast food and carbs later in the morning and afternoon. That put me on a really bad eating cycle. Any more, I need to have some breakfast before leaving for work each day, preferably something with some protein. An English muffin with poached egg and a slice of Tillamook cheddar is ideal for me. Then, depending on my plans for the day, I’d plan a big lunch and a light dinner, or light lunch and a bigger dinner. Generally speaking, though, I go for the bigger lunch, and make sure I’m getting in some juices, etc… in the evening. I don’t have any scientific theories to back up this practice; I’m just going on what I feel that my bodies needs for that day.
How about you? What’s your biggest meal of the day, and how do you plan your eating?

Dinner, definitely. I keep breakfast, lunch and snacks light because I’m eating on my own. Dinner contains more points (I’m a WW girl) because I’m also feeding my husband. Tuna and carrots don’t do it for him… hehe

Lunch is my biggest meal. I really need to start eating breakfast again because I feel so much better, I am so rushed with the children and getting to work.
I feel better physically when I eat light for supper. I don’t count calories per se - I watch what I eat.
I tend to exercise every day - between 4 and 6 pm so that also may play into why I am not hungry in the evening any more.
