After skipping a couple weeks, I’m back in the saddle. My usual weigh-in day is Friday, and I have been working the last two Fridays for my co-workers who felt they needed three-day weekends… selfish bastards!
The fact is, I DID weigh in on the 16th… it just wasn’t anything I wanted to shout from the rooftops. Like most WeightWatchers, I wear light clothing when I step on the scales. I remove my shoes, keys, cellphone, etc. to shave a couple extra ounces off my digits. Think what you will, but you should wear similar clothing when you go to weigh each week. Well on the 16th, I didn’t. I took a break from work, stepped on the scale wearing jeans, a belt, and shirt that weighs a bit more than a t-shirt. So I went up. I didn’t bother to stop in last week.
Without further delay… Anton, drum roll please… 2.6 pounds down for a total of 23.4 pounds since January 1.
I’ll be rockin’ in a Speedo in NO TIME!

John, we’re happy for you with the weight loss. But let me know when you get to the Speedo part of it so that I can plan on being gone that weekend.
Hilarious how we do that taking off of shoes before we weigh outselves thing. Or, step gingerly, watching the dial ease up to our weight instead of slamming it up there. Cheated today and got on the scales when I’m supposed to wait until Tuesay. It will be a good Tuesday. Cheers!
Congratulations! That is awesome. You can stay with it and I totally know what you mean about the clothes – I weigh in at home stark naked, but I guess u can’t do that at a Weight Watchers meeting (although that might provide more incentive if everyone had to strip each week for the weigh-in!).

As for what people do when they weigh-in? The leader of our group said that when they met in another location, the scale was in a more private area. She said that there were several ladies who would strip down to their unmentionables before stepping onto the scale!
