Shoot for a 5
On a Scale of 1 to 10 « Lose Weight With Me
Here’s an interesting concept: Rate your hunger on a scale of 1-10. One is you’re completely empty and could eat a horse. Ten is you’re completely full and couldn’t eat another bite. Try to stay at a five most of the time. Don’t let yourself get to a one, and of course stop eating before you get to a ten. This would fit in great with the WW plan. I’m going to give it a try and see what happens.

I’m trying to eat this way (using the hunger scale) and I think it is really allowing me to enjoy my food and my meals much more. If I allow myself to get to a 2 (pretty hungry but not quite eating my arm) I really enjoy my food so much more. When I graze all day and stay at a 5 I tend to not enjoy my food as much and just eat all day. I definitely think eating with the hunger/satiety mindset is a great way to approach WW. Good luck!!

Adding in my two cents.
If we (overweight people) knew when it was appropriate to eat and then to stop when we were satisfied…. we wouldn’t be overweight, right?
