I have confessed in previous posts the use of ‘excuses’ when it comes to the lack of success & commitment I have shown in Weight Watchers. One of the easy ‘excuses’ was the OBVIOUS lack of testosterone exhibited in the WW publications, the website and at the meetings.
Just last week, I got an email announcing that Weight Watchers was becoming exactly what was missing… manly. When I login now, I see manly recipes for dishes like buffalo wings, exercises for building muscle and endurance, and the best part… men’s success stories.
I hope that you can see these things, I’m guessing that they only show up if you have registered as a MAN! (insert Tim Allen grunt here) To keep the ladies from seeing how it is that we are able to lose weight easier than they can.

I’ve been pleasantly surprised at how Weight Watchers has kept up with the times. When I was a kid, I remember my mom and her friends doing WW, and I’ve just always associated it as a thing for older women to use (sorry mom). Now that I’ve humbled myself and have joined, it’s been cool to see all of their features that appeal to me. I REALLY like the Points Tracker database system; it appeals to the geek in me. And I’ve noticed that they’ve been tailoring a lot of their content for men. Like you say, though, when you register as a male and log in, they send you content that’s (hopefully) relevant to you.
Ok, time for my afternoon water break.
