gotta take it slow… right?
I weighed-in a few times over the past three days… and a final check this morning for today’s weigh “official” weigh-in. I’ve been able to drop 3 pounds and now I’m hangin’ around 204!
I’ve done nothing in terms of exercise just yet… just making sure I don’t eat as much, curb the sweets a bit, and no eating towards the later part of the night.

That’s a great point, Pete. How often do you weigh yourself? I’ve been with programs that said daily, and others that only let you weigh yourself at their weekly meeting. For me, I’m just going to stick with the weekly weigh-ins, although I sure am curious about how I’m doing throughout the week.
BTW, I’m working on a way that will automatically show the “posted by” field. This is a great theme, but unfortunately they didn’t include that feature.

I’m kinda partial to the weekly weigh-in… I do check in from time to time just to check on my self and see if I’ve made any progress. The random check-ins (”checkin’ on the way to the shower” or “getting ready for bed”) are more of a self-accountability measure so I know how much “harder” I might need to press into my efforts to lose the gut.

Personally I only WI once a week at my WW meeting. I don’t use the scale at home anymore as it can be frustratingly wrong, misleading or even will make me “think” like I could cheat and still be “ok.” As a lifelong WW’er it’s all about a change and not just a day to day and week to week number.
